A note on energy minimization in dimension 2 – joint work with Irina Shafkulovska and Ilia Zlotnikov.

Maximal polarization for periodic configurations on the real line is joint work with Stefan Steinerberger.

The faculty installed the new working group gender, diversity and equality of which I am a member.

The joint article with L. Betermin, Maximal theta functions – Universal optimality of the hexagonal lattice for Madelung-like lattice energies, is available online in Journal d’Analyse Mathematique.

Frank Vallentin invited me to participate in the mini workshop Three days of computational methods for extremal discrete geometry from November 30 to December 2, 2022 at the University of Cologne, Germany.

Irina Shafkulovska successfully defended the topic of her planned doctoral thesis in a public presentation. The committee gave her the permission to write a dissertation on Topics in sampling and time-frequency analysis (preliminary title).

The preprint The AGM of Gauss, Ramanujan’s corresponding theory, and spectral bounds of self-adjoint operators (joint work with A. Gumber and I. Shafkulovska) is available on the arXiv.

There is an open PostDoc position in the project Inside the frame set.
