For the next six years to come – beginning with January 1, 2017 – I will investigate how Austrian government employees of all ranks and departments have led their professional and private lives in the period between 1918 and 1940. The main focus of my habilitation project will be on a conduct of life appropriate to their position („standesgemäße Lebensführung“) – and deviations from it. Information pertaining to the project will be posted here on a regular basis.
