Gabriele Scharrer-Liška

I am a Senior Scientist at the Vienna Institute for Archaeological Science (VIAS) and member of the research network Human Evolution and Archaeological Sciences (HEAS).

My research focuses on social, economic and landscape archaeological issues of the Mediaeval Period in Central Europe. Recently I have focused my research on the investigation of deserted medieval settlements.
