Picture of Me

About me

I am a PostDoc at the University of Vienna and leading the FWF Stand-Alone Project Symmetric polynomials and (arrowed) monotone triangles. As such I am part of the combinatorics group of Christian Krattenthaler. I finished my PhD in 2019 under the supervision of Ilse Fischer at the University of Vienna.

My research is within the scope of algebraic, enumerative and bijective combinatorics and on topics in connection to representation theory, statistical physics, probability theory and geometry. In particular I am interested in alternating sign matrices, plane partitions and related combinatorial objects, Catalan combinatorics and symmetric functions.

Here is a short overview of my academic career:
  • 2021 - : PostDoc: University of Vienna, Austria.
  • 2019 - 2021: PostDoc - Erwin Schrödinger Fellowship, Université du Québec à Montréal, Canada.
  • 2015 - 2019: PhD in Mathematics, University of Vienna, Austria.
  • 2014 - 2015: Master in Mathematics, University of Vienna, Austria.
  • 2010 - 2014: Bachelor in Mathematics, University of Vienna, Austria.
