Welcome to my homepage!
As a professor of Cognitive Psychology at the University of Vienna, my research focuses on visual attention and perception. In my research group, we have consistently demonstrated the remarkable adaptability of automatic processing and the essential role of top-down control in its functioning. By this, we underscored the need for a better understanding beyond traditional stimulus-driven theories of automatic processing.
