Climate Crisis: take action!

I obtained a Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the University of Vienna and have been a researcher at the Faculty of Mathematics since 2002.
I have been working in various fields at the intersection of applied harmonic analysis and signal processing with a particular focus on adaptive representations for specific data sets. I was PI of several research projects investigating connections between applied mathematics and data analysis.
Apart from my research, I deeply enjoy teaching - the interaction with students incredibly increases my insights in learning, thinking and the world in general.
