Study of Architecture in Vienna/Austria at the Academy of Fine Arts, with Prof.Mag.Arch. Gustav Peichl.
Research studies on town planning in Chennai, India. Planning and construction of a dance school in Chennai, House of Lakshman.
Worked at the architecture office of Arch.Dieter Scheimpflug, Prof. Arch. Viktor Hufnagl for housing design, kindergardens, hotels and building transformations as well as project manager in several architecture studios in Vienna.
Participation at several national and international architecture competitions, Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, New Delhi, 1986.
1993 he received scholarships from the Austrian Ministry for Science and Education and from the Academy of Fine Arts for a research work on Das Weisse Dorf from architect Dudok in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. From 1992 till 1994 he held lectures at the Technical University of Vienna at the Institute for Housing Design, o.Univ.Prof.Dr.Dipl.Ing. Reinhard Gieselmann.
1996-97 at the „Institut für Raumplanung” o.Univ.Prof. Justus Dahinden.
Since 2014 at Kunstuniversität Linz. Organisation of a study trip to Iran fort the department of Architecture, o.Univ.Prof.Mag.Arch. Roland Gnaiger.
Since 1995 he is working at the University of Vienna. There he was involved in the transformation of the Old General Hospital to the new University campus. The involvement with this transformation was the starting point for his dissertation: A Model of the Transformation of Building Structures Guidelines for a Structural Renewal on the Basis of the Analysis and Evaluation of the Structural Conversion of the Old General Hospital into the University Campus at Vienna.
Study trips to Belgium, Cyprus, Germany, Egypt, France, Great Britain, Hungary, India, Italy, Iran, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, Tunesia. Took part at Architecture-Conference on Beyond Sustainability, Eindhoven, 2000, Sichere und gesunde Hochschule (safety and healthy university), Dresden 2013. .

Architect Dr. Jalil Saber-Zaimian is married to Dr.phil. Angela Saber Zaimian (Radha Anjali) and they have a son, named Jahan.
