Harald Grobner I am a member of the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Vienna, Austria. In June 2016, I have been awarded the START-Prize of the Austrian Science Fund - the austrian equivalent of an ERC-Starting-Grant. Its funding, granted for my long-term research project Special L-values and p-adic L-functions, is going to support me and my research-team over six years.

Interests:

My main scientific interests are located within the vital area of cohomological automorphic forms and their applications to number theory. I am particularly interested in the arithmetic and analytic theory of L-functions. This includes local and global representation theory and aspects in the geometry of arithmetically defined varieties.
