The workshop will be held in two different locations (not very far from each other, 10-15 minutes walking
distance). On the first day (Friday, 25 June), the workshop will take place in the Aula at
the University Campus (so-called "Altes AKH"). Please note that the latter is in
a different location both from the main University building situated on Karl-Lueger Ring and the Department of
Linguistics located on Berggasse 11. Here is a
map of the University Campus AAKH and surrounding area,
indicating also the route from the Department of Linguistics to the Aula at the Campus (follow the red
line on the map).
Thus, if your reference point is Währinger Straße, you should walk up the Schwarzspanierstraße (which is a continuation
of Berggasse) until you hit Garnisongasse to your right which you follow until reaching a walk-through arch to your left
(see the map), which is one of the entrances to the Campus. Walk through Hof 9, Hof 8 and Hof 7 and turn left to the Aula.
The pre-workshop registration and informal reception on Thursday evening (24 June), as well as the second and third days of the workshop (Saturday and Sunday 26-27 June) will take place in the lecture room ("Hörsaal") on the ground floor of the Department of Linguistics, University of Vienna, which is located at Berggasse 11 in the 9th District of Vienna, on the corner of Berggasse and Liechtensteinstrasse. (This is on the same street as the Sigmund Freud Museum, a major reference point in the neighbourhood.) Please note: it's Brggasse with an E (not Brggasse with a U, which is in a different district of Vienna quite far from the department).
