Curriculum Vitae

Current Projects

Major Projects:

Drone Noise - Annoyance towards quadcopter noise compared to other transportation noise sources, assessing effects of drone size, maneuver, speed, & flight altitude, psychoacoustic modelling

RESTORE - Restorative potential of green spaces in noise-polluted environments, investigate psychophysiological effect of (i) noise as facilitator and (ii) green as inhibitor of short-term stress buildup

BASS - Silhouette Database (take a look), cross-modal associations between colour and valence, the role of polarity, colour systems, cross-cultural comparisons of colour-valence-associations (Austria, Mainland China, Macau)

Projects in Lie Detection:

Detecting knowledge of a foreign language via response times, exploring different dimensions of filler items in the response time concealed information test, field study for a novel smartphone-based concealed information test
