I am Professor of Economics at University of Vienna, visting professor at Telecom Paris, and research fellow at the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO).

My research interests are industrial organization, competition economics, auctions, dynamic oligopoly models, labor demand, and gender differences.

My current research projects concern the evaluation of bidding behavior in procurement auctions, employment behavior of firms and gender-specific benefits from ride-hailing apps.

News

Due to the current situation concerning the corona virus, there are no courses/exams with student attendance at University of Vienna from 11 March 2020 until 3 April 2020. This applies to courses and exams in all degree programs. Teaching will instead take place in the form of learning at home and e-learning.

Also the course Gender Economics moves to online classes. The lectures will take place at the same time as originally planed: Monday and Tuesday from 15-16.30h.
