The reserach was carried out by students from a seminar about mobile learning at the University of Vienna. Data collection was carried out by mobile communication with support of the teachers and the project coordinator.
This already shows the bias of communication with mobile devices: It is possible to observe, or, in other terms: control, what happens in a classroom which is actually about 800 kilometers away. According to Innis, this can be described of an extended Control in space.
