Mag. Tanja Traxler

Dissertation: Verschränkungen im Raum. Philosophische Annährungen an Raum und Körper in der Quantenphysik

Abstract

The dissertation project “Entanglement in Space” investigates conceptions of space and vacuum with a philosophical perspective. The conception of space is crucially relevant when it comes the unification of quantum physics and general relativity. During the last centuries, most controverse conceptions of space and vacuum have been presented with far-ranging epistemological consequences. The thesis is part of the interdisciplinary project “Thinking Space”, which was funded by the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
