I am currently a senior postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge (Department of Theoretical Physics and Applied Mathematics) and the PI of the project Image based Data Evaluation Analyses and Medical Application at the Medical University of Vienna (Center for Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering).
My main research interests lie in the area of image representations and processing, bridging diverse research perspectives for better understanding. As a L’OREAL Austria/ÖUK/ÖAW Fellow I started 2021 my research on Image Quality Assessment in Medical Imaging and am since 2022 a FWF Hertha Firnberg Fellow, continuing my interdisciplinary path between Mathematics, Data Science and Medical imaging. The main focus of my work is currently the impact and biases on novel algorithms introduced by full-reference image quality assessment.
I am the vice-president of the executive committee of the Austrian Association of Women in Mathematics, aiming to support and improve the situation of women in the field.
