C2D3 Funding Historical Sheet Music

I am absolutely thrilled to have received funding for 2025 from the Cambridge Centre for Data-Driven Discovery and Accelerate Programme for Scientific Discovery (made possible by a donation from Schmidt Sciences), as a PI for our project on

AI meets cultural heritage: Non-invasive imaging and machine learning techniques for the reconstruction of degraded historical sheet music

collaborating with the Fitzwilliam Museum, the library of Gonville & Caius College and the Cultural Heritage Imaging Laboratory (Cambridge University Library).

Very excited to work with these departments to image and analyse fascinating old music in more detail!
