Jaroslaw J. Szymczak graduated from the Wroclaw University of Technology, working with Prof. Szczepan Roszak . In the years 2002-06, he stayed with Prof. Jerzy Leszczynski at the Jackson State University where he received his Ph.D. degree. Currently he is a postdoctoral researcher in QCCD group working with Prof. Hans Lischka at the Institute for Theoretical Chemistry of the University of Vienna. His research activities concentrate on the understanding of ultrafast non-adiabatic processes of molecular systems after photo-excitation. Beside that his scientific interest lies in theoretical studies on microsolvation phenomena in gas-phase clusters.
