(Econometrics of seasonality)
·
The
first part of the course will be concluded by a test (45% of the course grade), the second part of the course
will consist in presentations mainly by participants (55% of the course grade).
·
The
slides that I am using during the first portion of the course can be downloaded
here in
their version of 7/3, though they may be updated slightly during the course.
· On 14/3, we convened that the date for the test should be May 9.
·
The data
sets on the Austrian
unemployment and on Austrian industrial
production can be downloaded here. The corresponding Stata command files can be downloaded here and here. Note
that for technical reasons these files have extension .DOX not .DO, which you
may change back after downloading.
· In response to a request by participants, a role-model test from the last comparable course can be downloaded here, with answers accessible here. Note that the material covered in the course and the emphasis on specific aspects may have changed.
·
The DO
files (again, in DOX versions) of some run streams presented on April 18 can be
downloaded here: application
of CH test to industrial production data, application to a
generated seasonal random walk, and null simulation.
· The roster of presentations in the second part of this course is accessible here.
