In addition to the topics presented on the previous pages, a number of questions are of importance for a fuller understanding of string theory's philosophical implications and shall be addressed in upcoming project phases. One idea is to confront the obviously foundationalist character of string physics with anti-foundationalist arguments that were formulated for example by Nancy Cartwright. It is also intended to carry out a specific comparison between string physics and the conception of loop-quantum-gravity with respect to their philosophical foundations and scientific strategies.
