I develop software with Visual Basic, mainly database-applications (in the past also DOS-programs in Clipper). Some programs for download can be found here. Orders for software development are welcome.

All listed programs should run under Windows 95, 98, 98SE, ME, NT, 2000 and XP.

Lotto645 V1.1/1.31 - german       screenshot 1, screenshot 2

A commercial success for me is Lotto645, a program for management and statistical calculation of the austrian lottery "6 aus 45" with all draws of Lotto and Joker since the beginning as well as winning calculation and computer generated tips.
Finally the version for Windows is ready. The sharewareversion can be download free by clicking on the link below. In the sharewareversion all functions for Joker are deactivated. The full version of the program on CD-ROM with manual costs EUR 25,-.

For the update Lotto645 1.1 must be fully installed. Then you have to replace the old file lotto645.exe in the program directory (normally C:\Programs\Lotto645\) by the new one.

lotto645.dat - The up-to-date data file with all draws. Simply copy it to the Lotto645 program directory. 28 KB. Last update 11/17/2008.

- Correction of the pricelist to EUR and correction of my homepage URL.
V1.3, 6/15/2000:
- Version 1.1 and 1.2 were made for different screen resolutions but not for "big fonts". Therefore there were some ugly overlappings and shifts on some elements of the forms. This problem is solved.
- The statistic window now starts with the full size of the screen an could be made smaller. A recalculation of the graphics is done by clicking on [Berechnen].
- Some corrections of the looks (contents of the info-window and start with [Shift+F1], status-line on main window, etc.).
V1.2, 6/13/2000:
- At the input-window the date was set to Windows-format but should have been entered in the format dd.mm.yyyy, what were not checked and were not documented. If the date was entered in a different format, the program crashed. The date now is set to the correct format and will be checked before saving.
- The order form in menu \Hilfe\Bestellen\ was updated.

Lotto645 for DOS
The old DOS-version is still available. A year-2000 version with up-to-date data is available on request.

BiVer - german       screenshot 1, screenshot 2, screenshot 3 (BiVer Client)

BiVer is a database program for libraries (Bibliotheks Verwaltung) for saving bibliographies incl. lend management. It is devided in the main program for administrators (see screenshot 1 and 2) and the search program BiVer Client for users of the library (see screenshot 3). BiVer is a commercial software and will be adapted to individual needs. Prices on request.

FotoBildfeld V1.1 - german       screenshot       neu

The program calculates and draws image fields of photolenses for any film- and chipsize so you can compare them.
This program is freeware for private use.

TimeCalc V1.0 - english       screenshot

This program adds and subtracts time values. Very useful for calculating e.g. total playing times of audio CDs.

HTML/RGB V1.0 - german       screenshot

This program calculates the RGB-values and the HTML-sourcecode for selected colors.

SunMoon V0.9/0.92 - english       screenshot

This program calculates for one given month the rise and set times of sun and moon as well as begin and end of the astronomical twilight, furthermore the times, when it is astronomical dark and the moon is not up. The program is still in development.

sunmoon.exe - SunMoon 0.92. 125 KB. Last update 10/31/2000.
For the update SunMoon 0.9 must be fully installed. Then you have to replace the old file sunmoon.exe in the program directory (normally C:\Programs\SunMoon\) by the new one. Now delete sunmoon.ini or edit the version in the first line of the file to 0.92.

Version history:
V0.92, 10/31/2001: There was a program error for months with less than 31 days because of a compiler error.

DSSPic V1.2 - english       screenshot

This program allows (CCD-) astrophotographers to download a preview of planned photoprojects by downloading pictures from STScI Digitized Sky Survey (DSS) in size an resolution of the used CCD-camera.
This program is freeware for private use.
For further use of the pictures take a look at DSS.

V1.2, 04/09/2003: Calculates if size of object fits on CCD; calculates field of view in RA (hm); database modifications (objects, CCDs, eyepieces); locking of "download"-button during download; "help" implemented; menu and mainscreen restructured; CCD and focal length are saved automatically.
V1.1, 03/11/2003: Zoomable starchart with position of the object; update of the object database; calculation of the optimal focal length in "Object-Info"; filename prefix chooseable; more program infos.

SunPath V1.0 - english       screenshot

This program draws graphs with the path of the sun for a given period and interval for any location on earth. See sample images.
This program is freeware for private use. But please send me an e-mail if you use this program. If you generate photos with this program, you have to add a note to the photo that you have made it with this software!

Meteosat Animation V1.0 - german       screenshot

This program gets the current Meteosat satellite weather image for Europe from the ZAMG Vienna homepage and animates some of them. So you can get a short film and make your own weather forecast.

This is a fun program (for kids). Lucas follows the mouse cursor with his eyes, smokes if you click on his pipe and puts his tongue out if you click on his mouth.
