Announcing the DiscAnalysis Object Database (DIOD)

The database of the DiscAnalysis project is now online at a beta-test version. It contains a collection of panchromatic datasets of 85 protostellar sources including T-Tauris, transitional disks and HAeBe protostars. Each dataset spans from the X-rays to cm wavelengths and includes continuum as well as spectral line metadata (e.g. line fluxes with corresponding errors, interferometric maps when available etc). The data compilation represents an assembly of more than 150 individual filters and spectral chunks observed with 50 different facilities and also collected form more than 90 published articles. Part of the data is proprietary and reduced by our consortium members (e.g. X-rays) or shared by other groups. Data can be plotted and inspected online before downloading. A large collection of metadata on the stellar properties and other system parameters is compiled from a set of  50 published articles and will soon become available online.

The database is developed, hosted and maintained at the University of Vienna. Access to the data is currently restricted to members of the DiscAnalysis project, it is however possible to provide access to individuals on request. The database is foreseen to become public after the conclusion of the project, in late spring 2016. A paper describing the data collection and correlations (Dionatos et al. 2015) is currently being prepared and expected to be submitted soon.  Go to the DIOD login page.
