Natalia Shestakova
I did my Ph.D. in Economics at CERGE-EI in Prague, Czech Republic. Now I am employed by the University of Vienna to continue the work on my research projects and to teach new generations of economists.
My main research interest is in applying behavioral economics to industrial organization. Particularly, I am interested in studying how consumers’ cognitive limitations affect pricing strategies of profit-maximizing firms and what regulating authorities can do about it.
More broadly, I want to understand how the human mind works. And, of course, I want to have a happy life full of adventures and discoveries.
