Herorats A great project from Tanzania, training rats to find landmines. They are too light to detonate the mines and indicate them to experts who then disarm them. DRC Project The DRC projects aims at helping schoolkids at the Democratic Resettlement Community (DRC), a township of Swakopmund, Namibia. We've visited and donated to this project when living in Namibia, and we're trying to give continouus support.. Aktion Regen Founded by Dr. Maria Hengstberger, an Austrian gynaecologist, this project supports healthcare for women in poor regions, especially focussing on teaching natural birth control. Casa de los Tres Mundos A project supporting young artists from poor families in Granada/ Nicaragua. They provide workspace, materials and publicity. Wiener Tafel How much food gets thrown away in our country? This project helps hungry people in our city - one can donate money, ressources or simply time by helping. Doctors without borders I think they need no explanation - true heros! World Wide Fund for Nature The "classic" conservation organisation - and one of the best! Greenpeace THE environmental organisation...
