I am currently affiliated with the Analysis Group at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, NTNU Trondheim (Norway) supported by an Erwin-Schrödinger Fellowship (J-4100) from the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
The fellowship includes a return phase, which I will spend with the Numerical Harmonic Analysis Group (NuHAG), Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Vienna.

My main interests of research include (but are not limited to) Gabor frames, lattices and special functions as well as extremal geometric problems in (harmonic) analysis. I am especially interested in the investigation of Gaussian Gabor frames and related topics such as extremal frame bounds, the study of theta functions on lattices and the heat kernel on a torus.

[03.07.2017] Erwin-Schrödinger Fellow

I am happy to announce that I was awarded an Erwin-Schrödinger fellowship by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF (external link)). The project runs under the number J 4100 (project finder (external link)) and is called A "Weltkonstante" in Time-Frequency Analysis. It will be carried out at the NTNU in Trondheim, Norway (15 months) and at the University of Vienna, Austria (9 months).
