Warning

Apparently an Austrian nutrition scientist has calculated that if you drink one bottle of beer and eat one packet of potato crisps per soccer half, you will have gained 12 kilos by the end of the FIFA World Cup.

However, you can certainly reduce the gain of weight, by substituting your usual meals (in the case of soccer games that would generally be dinner) by the aforementioned diet.

Having said that, I am struck with a wife and a son who love football (OK, my wife is only interested in the world championships). Therefore, I am quite thankful that football dinner is not an option in my family.

On the other hand, if you go to a restaurant and the waiter forgets to bring your food, you could actually lose weight.
