Visiting Scholar (Post-Doc)
Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research
University of California at Berkeley
I am currently visiting scholar (post-doc) at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at the University of California at Berkeley. The Austrian Science Fund (FWF) funds my research stay at Berkeley (see link for the project description). Prior to my current position, I was teaching and research associate (post-doc) at the Research Institute for Regulatory Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), and a post-doc at the Florence School of Regulation Climate—European University Institute (EUI). During my PhD, I was a research and teaching assistant (pre-doc) at the Chair of Industry, Energy, and Environment (University of Vienna). My PhD was complemented by a research visit at Imperial College London.
My research interests cover climate policy, data science, energy economics, and industrial organization. In those areas I published several articles in international peer-reviewed academic journals. A list of publications can be found on Google Scholar and under Publications on this page.
I founded the Vienna Energy Group (VEG) in 2014 to connect Viennese Energy Economists/Scientists. More infos on the group can be found here.
