History

All I know about computer I learned autodidactic. It began 1984 with a home computer.

1984: Sinclair Spectrum homecomputer (ZX81, no mass storage. Later external tape recorder)
1985: Philips P2000T homecomputer (?, ROM-modules, minicassette drive)
1986: Philips :YES (sample. i80186, 640 KB RAM, 10 MB HD)
1989: IBM PS/2 (i80286, 1 MB RAM, 40 MB HD, IBM monitor 14")
1992: Noname PC (i80386/40, 4 MB RAM, 120 MB HD, SVGA 1 MB, monitor 14")
1994: Upgrade for above PC (360 MB HD, CD-ROM, sound, ZIP-drive parallel)
1996: Notebook WYSE (used. ?)
1996: Notebook Olivetti (used. i80486SX/25, 4 MB RAM, 120 MB HD, TFT-display)

Knowledge

I know the operating systems MS-DOS, Windows 3.1/95/98/NT/2000/XP/7 and nearly every standardsoftware.

I also develop software in Visual Basic 6 and 2010, mainly database-applications. Some programs for download can be found at Software. Orders for software development are welcome.

A special field of mine is the development of internet homepages (e.g. Pierre & Sprachferien).

With CorelDraw I make artistically drawings and I sometimes was present at contests - e.g. the annual Corel design contest. A small selection of my computer-graphical "masterpieces" can be found at the Picturegallery.
